Let it Snow Ornament…

For today’s 12 Day’s of Christmas project we made Snowman Ornaments. We needed to make some grandparents gifts and thought these would be great.

What you need:
Paint
Plain ornaments
Colored paint pens

How to:
We started with white paint
Paint the pointer finger with white paint
Then press the pointer finger on the ornament
Repeat with other fingers
The fingerprint should look like the 3 balls of a snowman
Let dry
With colored paint pens draw in sticks for hands, eyes, nose, mouth
You could even draw scarves or other cloths onto the snowman.

What About the Reindeer!

So you can’t just leave cookies out for Santa! What about the Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder, Blitzen, and Rudolph! They must get hungry flying Santa’s sleigh? So for today’s 12 Days of Christmas project we made Reindeer Food. We will sprinkle the Reindeer Food outside on the grass on Christmas Eve so the Reindeer have something to eat while Santa delivery his presents to our house.

What you need:
Few cups of oatmeal
Sprinkle, red & green
Jar

How to:
In a bowl mix oatmeal together with red and green sprinkles
Then transfer into a jar and save for Christmas Eve
On Christmas Eve sprinkle on your yard for Santa’s Reindeer

Rudolph!

Today’s 12 Days of Christmas count down project we made Rudolph the the Red Nose Reindeer. Little dude loved making these! We listened to the song and had a blast making Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.

What you need:
Paper
Brown paint
Red pompom
Eyes
Black marker

How to:
Put the brown paint on a paper plate
Have your child step into the paint
Then have them step on to the paper
Have some wet wipes handy to wipe your child feet off.
Super easy!
Let the paint dry
Face the picture with the toes up Then glue on eyes, sticks for antlers or draw them in.
Lastly, glue on the red pompom for Rudolph’s nose

Have fun!! You can also made one on a little canvas as a keepsake or as a gift.

Handprint Santa’s…

These past 2 weeks have been a bit crazy for us! From getting ready for vacation to coming home and finding the grove again after vacation! So sorry for lack of posts ! I finally feel like we’re getting caught up on housework & the never ending piles of laundry!

Our fun project for today! Was Handprint Santa’s
Super cute & easy!!

What you need…
Paper
White & red paint
Glue
Eyes
Markers

How to…
So what you do is paint your child’s hands white and put their hand down on paper.
Let it dry a little
Then with red paint, paint the thumb and the heal of the palm red to make Santa’s hat. Leave the tip of the thumb white or glue a cotton ball on the tip. Let it dry.
Glue on eyes or draw them on
Draw a mouth

And tada… Could be a cute card or gift for the grandparents.
